The LucidTouch is a new mobile concept launched by Microsoft and Mitsubishi that gives the end user the ability to control the devise by touching its see-through back; users can choose to manipulate objects by touching a sensor pad on the back of the device which allows them to resize images and texts as well as navigate around any graphical user interface without their hands getting in the way of the display.

Techfresh says, “The key to making the LuciTouch usable is its pseudo-transparency: By overlaying an image of the user’s hands onto the screen, Microsoft has created the illusion of the mobile devise itself being semi-transparent. This pseudo-transparency allows users to accurately acquire targets while not smudging the screen with their fingers”.
