Company logos are full of signals designed to appeal to shoppers' preferences and values. When you see a company logo, certain symbols that accompany it help you to identify and associate a brand with a specific purpose or group of people.
For instance, when you see a gluten-free symbol, fair-trade or kosher symbol they all remind you of a specific group of people as well as the brand that provides the product.
