Companies fight to lead the First Class market Edit

Companies fight to lead the First Class market

In the last two or three years there has been kind of a fever with the Low Cost airlines in Europe, but now that the trend has invaded even non-Low Cost airlines, it comes the time for First Class airlines. This means, entire airplanes for First Class seats only, mainly for transatlantic flights. Paris-New York, Stuttgart-Detroit, London-New York… The new companies -and also some of the existing ones like Alitalia or Lufthansa- have reduced the capability of their airplanes, from 250 seats to only 48.

Space is the new luxury, but not only this… everything you can dream of during a flight. Full communications, champagne, big sized TFT screen, space enough to make a bed with your seat -let’s say three to four rows of the regular airlines-, an amazing lounge place at the airport with a free buffet… Yes I’m amazed, I have to admit it!

At the moment there are some new companies that have bought new airplanes and invested in order to offer this service and lead this new trend. L’Avion from Paris or EOS from London fight to get the biggest piece of the market. Not strange, considering that in this market, a flight from London to New York can cost 14,000$ ... Who wouldn’t fight for such customers?
