I would like to have a seat in the Combine Chair, just to see if it's actually comfortable. I have no doubt that Simon Colabufalo worked ergonomics into his piece, yet the hard surfaces make it seem impossible for the furnishing to prop up rear ends without causing pain.
The futuristic office chair has been carefully constructed of laser-cut steel strips with shiny a nickel plating. They ultra-thin individual pieces were bent and joined with wing nuts and have the support of a 4mm steel spine. The swiveling seat appears incredibly lightweight, despite the high density of the material. With its tall and pointy backrest, the Combine Chair means business and looks fit for only the sharpest of sitters.
