A Colour Chart Based on Words

The Dantone Guide is a colour chart based on words that introduces tones and nuances in the Danish language (the examples have been translated to English).

It basically works like a traditional colour chart, only here you browse through different nuances and tones in the written language.

The chart covers a variety of notions and concepts and divides them into nuances. From PEACE, over UNREST, to WAR. From FINANCIAL CRISIS, over ZERO GROWTH, to UPTURN.

The colours of the words follow the actual Pantone scale and the colour of each concept matches its subject. So that matters related to emotions are red/pink, financial issues are blue, environmental issues green and so forth.

The Dantone colour chart was produced as a promotion for Danish ad agency TN Reklame. Stats for The Dantone Guide Trending: This Year & Chilly
