Angel Whisenant is a digital artist and a conceptual photographer who has captured the essence of color representation in her mini self-portrait series called Color. In each image, Whisenant wraps herself in different color sheet of silk. Her skin is exposed in many of the images. The silk covers only a few parts of her body such as her breasts.

Her facial expressions and body positions change in each picture to reveal a different connection between her self identity and the color she is consumed by. All of the images are taken from an overhead view looking down upon her. Whisenant is laying atop a black mat that is coated with white dust. The backdrop ensures that the colors are the most eye-catching piece of each image.
