If showing off some skin doesn’t sell coffee, nothing will.  A new trend of “naughty baristas of Cowgirls Espresso” is emerging around Seattle, depicting how cutthroat the competition is in the “hometown of Starbucks.”  In perhaps the most “caffeinated city”, naughty baristas of Cowgirls Espresso represent a new trend in and around Seattle. 

Cowgirls Espresso, which was opened in 2002, claims to be the “sexy coffee alternative” with its unique concept of “friendly, sexy baristas serving pleasantly stimulating specialty coffee with speed and convenience to driver’s on-the-go.”  Cowgirls Espresso has many themed days in which the barista girls dress up in themed outfits such as “Military Mondays”, “Cowgirl Tuesdays, Bikini Wednesdays, School Girl Thursdays, and Fantasy Fridays,” 

The stand is doing great business.  For instance, a Cowgirls Espresso owner Lori Bowden now rakes in about $800 a day. The girls make minimum wage, plus $80 to $150 a day in tips.
