Beauty blogger Ofunne Amaka created the Cocoa Swatches app which targets black beauty buffs. This innovative cosmetic app showcases how makeup swatches really look on a variety of darker skin tones.

To this day, the beauty industry is still managing to come up with a more fair representation of different skin shades. It's been a tiresome challenge for black women to find products that are fairly marketed to them and their various skin tones despite of making up a large population of the beauty market. Instead of waiting on the slow and steady change of the beauty industry, Amaka created the Cocoa Swatches app. The app includes eyeshadow, lipstick and face product swatches. Users can also find product comparisons and tutorials on makeup application for darker skin stones.
