On a hunt to find Toronto's top bartender, this cocktail competition series is designed to showcase local bars known for their creative alcoholic concoctions. The Cocktail Cup is being organized by Dillon's, a new bar located in the distillery neighborhood. The event consists of several head-to-head elimination challenges between Toronto bartenders, taking place at various bars and restaurants across the Canadian city. The cocktail competition will be drawn out over the course of many months, which also serves to "highlight the overall state of cocktail culture" in Toronto, according to Blog TO.

Participating venues include Parts & Labour, Home of the Brave and Cold Tea. Thus far in the competition, the top 10 barkeeps have been chosen, two have been eliminated and round 3 is coming up on May 19th.
