The CNN News 'Live from the Source' campaign was created to send a clear and direct message about the freshness of the news and sources of the broadcasting news network. In order to show the effectiveness of the channel in getting its stories from the right places and people, creative director Karpat Polat and art director Hande Guleu developed these creative ads uses with a little help from Photoshop.
By using political leaders who seem to become local reporters, CNN is transmitting to viewers that the company has a selected network of employers all around the world who find and transmit the news from the exact country and exact time where the action happens.
The CNN News 'Live from the Source' ads won this year's Cannes Lions Bronze.
