These bright blue busts are sinking into a stunningly solemn pond in Paris' Parc Montsouris, providing a thought-provoking climate change art installation. Artist Pedro Marzorati created this poignant piece that features water slowly overtaking human beings.

Reminiscent of the Blue Man Group entertainers, these blue faces entertain with a much more political message. Their color instead reflects the precious resource they are making a commentary on: water and the effects that climate change is continuously having on rising sea levels and natural disasters.

This public art installation was created with the 2015 Climate Conference in mind. The first time in 20 years that governments aim to make a legally binding global agreement will be hosted in Paris later this year. With this climate change art piece, awareness, conversations and questions will hopefully be sparked around these pivotal talks.
