While the real inspiration behind Clements Ribeiros Spring 2010 collection was the addition of two new household cats for the design couple, their choice of hairstyle and makeup for their runway models told a different story. Impossibly high beehive bouffants, teased and sprayed to cone-headed perfection were made popular by troubled songstress Amy Winehouse. These ‘dos were all the rage on Clements Ribeiros Spring 2010 runway. In accompaniment to the enormous hair sported by the Clements Ribeiros Spring 2010 models, their makeup was drawn on in the exact same manner as the cat-eyed crooner, perhaps providing a double entendre for their feline inspiration.
