Shibui's embracing a new line of classic home decor, perfect for anyone who loves newly formed housewares and designer collaborations. Shibui is inspired by the Japanese philosophy of "shibui," which refers to a simple, subtle and unobtrusive beauty.

Though each object is incredibly simple, they're not exactly minimalist. Based in Switzerland, the designers aim to take a stand against mass consumerism by creating objects with high quality and sustainable materials.

Each item is produced by small, family-owned producers in Europe and as a result, each object acquires a modern character that's both charming and complex. You find fruit and wine cooler containers tilted on their side, multi-layered candle holders that are misaligned and even vegetable trays made from spherical wooden orbs.
