The CJ Brown 'Beef' book was made as part of Brown's final project for his second year at the University of West England, Bristol, where he studies graphic design. If you're curious as to what the 140-page tome has to say about cows, Brown himself states, "The book explores the history of beef ranging from its involvement during WW2 to the uses of beef in by products to this day." I never knew there was so much more to beef!
Implications - As marketplaces become over saturated with similar product designs, companies are finding it much harder to garner the attention of consumers. As such, many companies are now resorting to abstract design elements to shock consumers out of apathy and to distinguish themselves from competitors.
