If you ever wanted to see a city through the eyes of its citizens, Flickr photos have now been used to render a 3D view of Dubrovnik, Croatia.

The implications of this rendering are far-reaching. Virtual tourism would get an added boost—before hopping on a plane, you could check out the sights virtually (but hopefully still get out of the house at some point). Recreating a city with Flickr sounds unbelievable, but the render of this 3D world shows it’s possible.
