Converse does not tend to stray too far from the classic design of its Chuck Taylors, but its 'Open Knit' shoes are definitely a drastic shift from the brand's normal style.

The Open Knit Chuck Taylors collection offer two different shoes -- a high-top and the standard design -- each of which has a knitted exterior. The purpose of this knit fabric is to keep the user's feet cool, a feature that is not addressed in other types of Chuck Taylor shoes. The brand took inspiration from this year's Olympics and chose to design the shoes with the beaches of Rio in mind. The resulting sneakers are either an ocean blue color or a seaweed green.

These shoes are perfect for people who enjoy the style of Chuck Taylors but would like to wear shoes that are more appropriate for the summer.
