The Christopher Kane Fall 2014 Menswear Collection is cleverly keeping it simple. It's boiled down to a weird science, featuring python skins and molecules under the microscope continuing the biological theme that inspired his spring womenswear collection.
He calls the men and women’s collections a pairing like that of Adam and Eve. It’s a symbiosis between the two. In order to conquer his own fear of snakes, he printed their skins across denim and made them pop with 3D printing on polo necks.
Pops of color and prints are grounded in navy smart jackets with foamy quarter sleeve tees and hoodies spotted with overlapping atoms. The collection packs a huge punch with color-blocked undershirts, jumpsuits and cable knits. One outfit almost resembles a suit out of Star Trek.
