With the holidays happening right around the corner, you might be interested to know how people celebrate Christmas around the world. From Lemonly, this infographic explores how people in countries from the United States to Australia wish each other Merry Christmas. The chart also covers what their versions of Santa are called and food traditions from different parts of the globe.

'Christmas Around the World' examines 18 different countries, most of which are European. However, Australia, Japan, China, Mexico, the Philippines are included in addition to the United States and Canada (where we enjoy Christmas pudding). While Swedes wish each other God Jul and celebrate with Jultomtem and janssons fresteise, people in Iceland say Gledileg Jol and eat mondlugrautur after yule lads come visit on Christmas day.
