Ahead of Valentine's Day this year, Thorntons set up a unique in-store chocolate tasting experience in collaboration with Bompas & Parr.
At the Westfield Stratford shop location, a 'Taste Pod' was set up, where visitors could stop, sit and be immersed in a sampling experience accompanied by lights, music and scents. As a result of tasting bitter, sweet and salty profiles, consumers were matched with chocolates to suit their exact preferences from Thorntons’ Continental collection.
The experience was completely free for the public to partake in, which served as a great way to promote new additions so the brand's Continental collection. The timing of this stunt is perfect, especially before one of the most popular times of the year for consumers to purchase chocolates for themselves and others.
