Asia and more specifically China and its many symbolizations are explored in the new China Collection by Ena Macana. This jewelry collection is a selection of made in China toys that are then re-constructed in Macana’s Barcelona workshop. The recreations are provocative and quite beautiful. They are also a thoughtful way of inverting the fashion counterfeit trade often seen in China. The China Collection by Ena Macana explores militarism, consumerism and art.
