For the spring of 2017, Free the Children, or the WE Charity, created a Child Mother's Day website to bring awareness to the " 2.5 million underage girls" who are forced to bear children each year, as well as those who are wrongfully forced into marriage before they even reach 15 years of age.
On the Child Mother's Day website, a number of merchandise is featured along with price tags, which include products like boxes of chocolates, teddy bears, bouquets of flowers, mini manicure sets, purses that double as diaper bags, and cards. Each of the products has a description that shows its relevancy to the cause, which draws attention to the severity of these conditions and prompts those who visit the website to donate.
