Condos in the ultra luxurious Chicago Spire went on sale recently. The condos are not for the faint-hearted because the sky high structure has sky high prices too. At 2000 feet, the building is the highest residential housing in the world. Prices range from $750,000 to $15 million, putting the Windy City prices higher than any of Trumps.

Walking into the sales office for the Chicago Spire is like stepping into a modern art museum. In the lobby, a large egg with white doves rest on a blue background, created by architect Santiago Calatrava. Elsewhere, Calatrava's sculpted door handles rest -- emphasizing people are at the heart of architecture, while other handles in the lobby are molded from his own grip. The theory: that wealthy buyers will be eager to purchase the art within Calatrava's architecture.
