This wonderful bag collection by Saskia Diez entitled ‘Papier’ (Paper) is made using synthetic paper, which is very light, waterproof, recyclable and extremely hard to tear. What a great list of virtues for a handbag. And they are labeled with sterling silver.

Saskia Diez is a Germany-based goldsmith who decided to study industrial design, nut after a re-think, she was drawn back to her jewelry design, which she sells and is recognized worldwide. 

PAPIER will be available in April 2009 in selected stores and on her online shop, along with her gorgeous jewelry lines at shop.saskia-diez.de
