Who knew that Cheech and Chong could be used as investment advisers?

While reading a recent issue of the Globe & Mail, I came across an article about wacky stock market indicators, which correlated some oddball trends to the stock market’s performance. These trends included such things as skirt lengths in ladies’ fashion, the original conference of the Super Bowl winning team (AFL or NFL) or even the nationality of the model on the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue magazine cover. 

I also found an article in “High Times” that indicated the negative correlation between the S & P 500’s performance and the activity of Cheech & Chong’s career.

If all this is true, the stoner duo’s upcoming reunion tour and possible new film does not bode well for a speedy economic recovery.
