The Weinstein Company has announced in a press release that the company is planning for the Charles James revival. Charles James is the legendary American couture house to which this year's Met Ball was dedicated, but Marchesa designer Georgina Chapman and her brother Edward Chapman CEO of Marchesa will be the creative consultants and visionaries of the brand.

James was one of the most incredible couturiers in the history of fashion and this label deserves to be a household name within the same ranks as Chanel, Dior and Oscar de la Renta.

It's pretty thrilling to see a new brand in the midst that could potentially join huge fashion and cosmetic names in the designer race. James was known for his sweepingly dramatic gowns, which will be a hit with movie stars and corporate industry events.
