Photographer Eliot Lee captures the Chapter Spring/Summer 2014 lookbook in proximity to monumental urban architecture like concrete columns, fences and walls. The urban fabric of the city makes a beautiful backdrop for the simple menswear garments in black, white and fabrics with the occasional sheen. In each of the images, the model poses simply and it works with the scale of the images, creating visually stunning captures that speak volumes for themselves.
The photos have incredible textures like spotty concrete walls, scrawled graffiti and decrepit-looking peeling paint. Although the lookbook may seem a little severe, the architecturally-inspired garments and the slightly surly expressions on the model give off the same air of toughness that it would take to rock these garments, which are truly fit for a style-savvy urban warrior.
