The Landscape Series by India Mahdavi is a ceramic tile table and vase series inspired by Iznik tiles, or ceramic tiles that are a 16th century Ottoman tradition.

The series was discovered as a result of research into the Ottoman style of making quartz tiles, which led to a new way of constructing tables. The entire collection carries a distinct reflective shine due to the custom-made tile colors for this project.

Funded by the Iznik Foundation, the tables' tiles are assembled in a way that make them look like fish scales by the way colors are put together. For instance, green tiles are paired in groups with yellow, maroon, white and orange. The series also features vases in asymmetrical shapes that group and fit together perfectly like a landscape.
