'FCC Arquitectura' collaborated with designer Paulo Lobo to create the 'Cella Bar.' For many architects, it can be a challenge to incorporate contemporary design into the natural environment. This bar uses remnants of a pre-existing structure to give an old structure a modern twist.

The Cella Bar was designed as part of the regeneration of a pre-existing structure that had long been abandoned. The designer managed to preserve the original construction by restoring the walls, roof and door frame. The interior was then overhauled to give the space a modern look. The designers wanted to produce a building that would appeal to modern consumers while still reflecting the beauty of its unique location. The end result is a contemporary wooden bar that is inspired by the coastal environment.
