Hair Extenstions a 'Growing Trend' - Celebrities and Mainstream Agree

The trend towards long and sexy hair has sprouted a completely new craze: human hair extensions. Wholeheartedly embraced by celebrities like Jessica Simpson and Kirsten Dunst, everyday girls are jumping on the bandwagon and attaching real human hair extensions to their own less-than-lucious locks. The results are gorgeous and completely believable!

Celebrities such as Jessica Simpson & Paris Hilton have popularized hair extensions in the past year. Most celebs use human hair extensions, such as Great Lengths (Hilton & ex-friend Nichole Ritchie's company of choice) to get the long hair nature hasn't blessed them with. Each strand is 'pre-tipped' with a synthesized keratin protein that acts as a glue to bond the strands onto your hair. Heat may be used to bond, or 'melt' the glue, or some stylists use FastFusion technology, which uses air pressure to bond the hairs in faster time.
