This Art Exhibit Turns a Caved in Ceiling into a Work of Art

This unusual art exhibit by artist Thomas Hirschhorn takes a caved in ceiling and turns it into a marvelous work of art. When viewers see this exhibit initially it just looks like a decaying home, but in fact that is the exhibit.

This intriguingly destructive series is titled 'Break-Through,' which seems appropriate given the nature of Hirschhorn's work. This is actually a sculpture that hangs from the ceiling of the exhibit and deceivingly makes it appear as though the room is falling apart. Hirschhorn wanted to create something that was a little chaotic and this caved in ceiling piece certainly fits that description.

This fantastic and bizarre sculpture is hard to look away from. Something about the sense of destruction behind this piece draws the audience in. Stats for Destructive Art Exhibits Trending: Older & Chilly
