I just finished posting an article about the Top 10 Toasters from the Future, and then this new toaster had to pop up.
The designer, Arthur Wu, desribes, "The Toasty Single Serving Toaster not only makes your morning toast, it does it in the most kickin' way possible: cassette-deck style. Every morning your toast will pop out just like that Le Freak mix tape you loved so dearly. Providing the nostalgia of 1980s technology while adopting the sturdy materials and manufacturing practices of the 1950s, Toasty is a mash-up of decades that fits in any modern kitchen."
I'm pretty sure that me posting another toaster is going to upset thischick, who noted, "It's just toasted bread for Pete's sake, not rocket science, no matter what these toaster designers would have us believe." However, I can't stop myself. It seems that all kitchen innovation is taking place around the toaster. Plus, I like toast.
