Although known for its competitive beer flavor, Carlsberg Export was not succeeding in its sales as well as it hoped, largely due to its dated branding identity. As such, the brand enlisted the creative agency Taxi Studio to completely redesign the visual identity of this collection.
The leap from traditional designs to contemporary ones was a difficult but necessary one, since it is important to keep tradition alive while constantly adapting to suit the changing needs of consumers.
The resulting beer branding is one that is contemporary and simple, but that adheres to Danish design norms of balancing function and form -- ultimately keeping its origins as inspiration.
