The Recycled Cardboard Transformer

This work of art is an outstanding piece of papercraft.  To create the work, a Chinese papercrafter took it upon himself to build an incredibly detailed Bumblebee Transformer model and he certainly pulled it off.

The work is green too, as it was made using mainly fast-food containers such as KFC bucket lids and Orion custard boxes.

Implications - Papercraft has become quite a hit especially since the burgeoning of the digital world. With the Internet readily accessible, people can now download templates of figures without spending money on origami books. This benefits artists in terms of exposure and the interest these DIY projects can gain on the web.
