Ben Wilson is the designer responsible for this clever little creation that he calls the Chairfix. A deceptively simple idea, the Chairfix chair is pre-cut into various parts from a single sheet of plywood. The pieces are then simply snapped out and slotted together to form this great little chair.

The Chairfix is available both in adult and junior sizes. The plain, unfinished wood can then be decorated in any pattern or finish your little heart desires.

I like these tabbed chairs! Too bad they aren't really cardboard. THAT would have been amazing!

Katie, I don't think normal cardboard could handle the weight of a grown up (or even a fat kid :)

One of my projects in college was to design a stool from cardboard. The one I made was so strong I could stand on it! I kept it around for years and used it as an end table after that! I guess it all depends on the design.

Ah, I take that back then. Maybe I am thinking of a different kind of cardboard.

You're right Ayman, single-thickness shipping box cardboard probably wouldn't work with the design shown. It is a structural component in many common items including furniture and doors. I remember buying a cardboard bistro table in the land before chipboard and I've done engineered furniture projects by gluing several layers together. I got excited when I saw the pics because I thought maybe someone was making cnc'd chair parts from cardboard.

Ah you girls got me beat. I am terrible at building/making/fixing stuff. When I try to fix/build something, it gets worse, lol. I am not good with my hands for sure.

Ayman, you're looking at it all wrong. Each and everyday, artistry flows from your fingers (which last I knew were located on the hands) to produce kick-ass articles. So, yes, you are good with your hands.
