For those that can't get enough of cheese and meat in their pasta dishes, this cauliflower carbonara pasta dish opts for great taste and more veggies. This is a great hybrid dish that infuses more wholesome ingredients into a classic recipe without compromising on taste.

Carbonara is traditionally a bacon, cheese and egg pasta filled with hearty ingredients. To lighten the dish and make it a bit more health-conscious, this recipe adds a baked head of cauliflower and subs in pancetta for bacon. Other ingredients include parmesan cheese, garlic, onion and egg. Foodies can either opt to use the cauliflower in place of the noodles to make this a carb-free meal or add fusilli noodles if preferred.
