Carbon doesn't exactly sound like the most exciting thing to use when creating beautiful lighting, but Marcus Tremonto found a way. Using carbon rod the designer created Carbon 451 Lamp, a beautiful folded looking light.

The Carbon 451 Lamp from Marcus Tremonto is a cool room centerpiece as it falls from the ceiling. It definitely makes me expect more from carbon rods, not that I put that much thought into it usually.

Implications - The fixture is extremely fantastical, and resembles dripping liquid spilling from the ceiling or a falling folded ribbon. Plant this fabulous fixture in bland living rooms or ordinary offices to stop people in their tracks. It will definitely lighten up your life with whimsy and, well, light.
