Knowing when it's time to change your tires can sometimes be an afterthought, so the Nokian 'SnapSkan' car tire service device helps make it easier to identify the optimal time to do so.

The Nokian 'SnapSkan' works by being placed in an entranceway that is used by cars on a consistent basis like in a parking lot. Drivers can drive over the Nokian 'SnapSkan' much like a speed bump and automatically have their tires scanned to detect the level of wear. The driver is sent a text message with a report after the system scans their license plate.

The Nokian 'SnapSkan' car tire service is set to used in a carpark in Helsinki to trial run the technology to ensure it's ready for adoption in other markets.
