This year at Cannes Lions, McDonald's was named the Cannes Creative Marketer of the Year for 2014, in recognition of its many innovative marketing campaigns.
To spread the word about this nomination by Cannes Lions festival organizers, this poster created by the Leo Burnett agency in Chicago sets off a show of fireworks made of French fries. Since McDonald's has become a global brand that hardly needs much introduction, the ad is super minimal and uses only a few key elements like the iconic golden arches, plus a color scheme of red and yellow.
