The savory sweets pastry uses crushed graham crackers as a base that is mixed with cinnamon. The layering effect for the cake is the most difficult part. The sour cream and heavy cream filling must be separated into three sections using a baking pan, bowl and plastic cup. Yellow and red food coloring is added to the middle and exterior layer to match the colors on the sugary sweets.
