Candace (Cameron) Bure, who played D.J. Tanner on ‘Full House’ as a child, will mark her return to television this summer. Thankfully, it won’t be on a celebrity rehab show. She’ll be starring as the stepmother of a gymnast in ABC’s new family drama ‘Make it or Break It.’ In a refreshing twist and unlike her troubled childhood ‘Full House’ cast mates, Jodi Sweetin and Mary-Kate Olsen, Bure managed to avoid drugs and eating disorders growing up. She’s a happily married mother of three children. To this day, many children adore ‘Full House’ and the Tanner girls.
