Candace (Cameron) Bure, who played D.J. Tanner on ‘Full House’ as a child, will mark her return to television this summer. Thankfully, it won’t be on a celebrity rehab show. She’ll be starring as the stepmother of a gymnast in ABC’s new family drama ‘Make it or Break It.’
In a refreshing twist and unlike her troubled childhood ‘Full House’ cast mates, Jodi Sweetin and Mary-Kate Olsen, Bure managed to avoid drugs and eating disorders growing up. She’s a happily married mother of three children.
To this day, many children adore ‘Full House’ and the Tanner girls. Judging by the interest in Candace (Cameron) Bure since the news of her starring in a new show was released, I have no doubt fans young and old alike will be tuning in to see her debut in ‘Make it or Break It.’
