The Cadillac CT6 is a new luxury sedan that, despite being about the same size as the large BMW 7-Series, weighs far less. This lightweight profile is made possible thanks to an aluminum-intensive platform.

The CT6 will be powered by a trio of engines, ranging from the four-cylinder turbo motor -- capable of producing 265 horsepower -- to a twin-turbo 3-liter V6 engine, which can produce 400 horsepower. The V6 engine features cylinder deactivation, which helps keep it in line with increasingly stringent emissions regulations.

The Cadillac CT6 comes in either rear wheel or all-wheel drive. The active all-wheel drive setup features a variable clutch that can vary power delivery to the front wheels depending on conditions. This system works together with active rear-wheel steering to provide maximal control. The true auto enthusiast likes to feel in full control of the vehicle -- rather than feeling like they're controlling a video game car -- and this vehicle allows for just that.
