Cabbage Chair - Peeled for 21st Century Comfort and Style (GALLERY)

Nendo, a Canadian born designer has created the new ‘must have’ chair made entirely from recycled pleaded paper.  The chair is appropriately named the “Cabbage Chair” and has no internal structure and does not use nails, screws or any other additional elements or textiles.  The simplicity of design and mouldability of the pleats create for unprecedented blend of comfort, functionality and art. The chair was designed for the XXIst Century Man exhibition which will be held in Tokyo from March 30th to June 6th.  If you happen to be in the area, be sure to check it out!
