Sephora is Offering Guidance to Female Cosmetic Start-Ups

Large-scale makeup retailer Sephora is doing its part to offer guidance and mentorship to emerging beauty start-ups with a beauty business program. The platform, called Sephora Accelerate, is aimed towards providing female entrepreneurs with the tips, information and counsel they need to get their ideas off the ground.

The Sephora Accelerate program offers a bootcamp-style platform to help entrepreneurs in the beauty industry launch their new products with experienced mentorship and funding. The program offers a classes, guidance and support in a market where there virtually is none with teachings geared towards socially minded start-up ventures to women in need looking to take on a role in business. The start-ups can range from applications such as apps, cosmetic services or more traditional beauty products. The program is reserved for 10 start-ups and is currently taking applications.
