Bush Backlash Spreads - Statue of Liberty Spanks Bush in Germany

It’s no secret that Bush backlash has been spreading throughout the world, but it is interesting to see that even in Western European countries, like Germany, that criticism is very open and organized.  In this picture you can see a gloat that shows President George W. Bush getting spanked by the Statue of Liberty.  This isn’t a poorly made protest sign, but rather an official float in an organized street carnival parade.  Having said that, the German carnival is known for pushing satirical themes about world events.
