Bullet Proof Bra - Police Issue Underwear

Now this is what I call a wonderbra - German Police are issuing a bullet proof bra to thousands of their female officers as part of their uniform.

As it turns out. normal underwired bras can be dangerous when worn in combination with a bullet-proof vest as the impact of a bullet can push the metal and plastic bits of the bra into an officer’s body causing severe injury. After months of testing the bras are now being issued. Made of cotton or polyester and padded they also have the word “Police” printed at the bottom and come in three styles. I don’t get this bit as surely no one would see them and if they do the fact is the woman is a police officer or not is not an issue anymore.

There is also no forced bra policy - with female officers being have to choose if they wear the bra or not.
