Buildies by Brian Lilly are Playhouses Made Out of Blocks

By: Meghan Young - Published: • References: kickstarter & fastcodesign
Buildies by Brian Lilly, a professor, rocket scientist and father based in Champaign, Illinois, is a fantastic update for the traditional children's fort. Instead of being made out of hard plastics or easily destroyed sheets, this fort is made out of LEGO-inspired cardboard components. They fit together just like the colorful building blocks to make structures that are much more stable as well as realistic.

Coming with faux wood roofing, which is also made out of cardboard, Buildies by Brian Lilly can be used in a multitude of different ways. Whether built to be a play house for kids or as a decorative element in their bedrooms around a bed or desk area, the structure is creative and playful. It is currently vying for funding on Kickstarter. Stats for LEGO-Like Cardboard Forts Trending: This Quarter & Warm
