Britney Spears is at the forefront of music industry attempts at cracking social media with the release of the Britney Spears ‘3’ video yesterday.

The new video from Britney Spears, ‘3’, premiered on Twitter after a series of Twitter-leaked stills from the shoot and a short video clip. According to Edo Segal on TechCrunch, this is the first time a major artist has turned to Twitter to premiere their work. Will it start a trend?

I get--and totally respect--that lots of people are not as Britney-obsessed as I am, but she looks slammin' in this video, and completely coherent. Of all the pop superstars our age, she's made a pretty solid comeback, against the odds.
