The upcoming 90-minute special entitled “Britney: For the Record” is produced by manager Larry Rudolph and is hoped to relieve Britney Spears of her previous social image. But can the insane amount of damage really be repaired?

Whatever you believe, it is undenyable that Britney Spears IS en-route for a much more successful comeback than the one she tried to have at MTV’s 2007 VMAs. And this enticing upcoming interview has perfect timing to help publicly promote her new album “Circus.” One thing is for sure, there’s no more baldness in this superstar’s future. Miss Britney Spears hopes that all who watch her intimate interview are finally set straight about her life.

This may be one of the first times a superstar has created a retrospective documentary.  Britney Spears has always been a unique character, but it will be interesting to see if other Hollywood train wrecks follow suit.
