'Great American Cookie' stores are giving out free chocolate chip cookies in honor of 'National Bribe Your Child Week.'

Throughout the week, kids can print out a pledge form, fill it out and bring it to any Great American Cookie bakery to get a free chocolate chip cookie. The form gets kids to fill in their name as well as one task they will complete for their parents in exchange for their cookie.

The American baked goods franchise is certainly not the first company to invent a holiday, but Bribe Your Child Week is pretty original and appeals to both cookie-hungry kids and the adults who want them to clean up their toys and brush their teeth before bed.
