When a person closes their eyes, brainwaves function differently. Using this principle, designer Lucas Maassen created the brainwave couch.

The brainwave couch is crafted by mapping the first 3-seconds someone has their eyes closed and then creating a couch design based on their brainwaves. The result is a cool—albeit slightly awkward—couch design that blends brain function and functionality.

The unique brainwave couch is an interesting way to combine scientific discussion with design.
